Robert Stewart Sherriffs (British, 1906–1960) was a cartoonist and illustrator who contributed to Punch magazine, as well as to The Illustrated London News and London Opinion. He trained at Nottingham School of Art and worked across editorial illustration, commercial advertising, and book design. Sherriffs also produced film caricatures for various publications during the 1930s and 1940s, and his drawings were featured in magazines and newspapers throughout his career.
