A French provincial earthenware cachepot of tapering cylindrical form with a scalloped rim. The surface is finished in a warm buff glaze, decorated with horizontal bands and vertical striping in deep brown, creating a restrained geometric pattern. A small applied ring handle sits at the front, adding a functional and sculptural detail. The glaze shows natural variation and tonal depth, characteristic of utilitarian provincial pottery. Preserved in great antique condition.
