About
Iconic Mid-Century drinking set by English company Chance consists of a "Giraffe" carafe, six stemmed glasses, and a matching round tray. All are decorated with white on clear glass floral pattern and gilt edges. Original golden color stickers state: "Chance Glass Made in England", and next to them black and white check triangle stickers "As selected for The Design Centre London".
The "Calypso" pattern with line-drawn florals was designed by Michael Harris in 1959 exclusively for Chance Glassmaking company.
